Abstract

· Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the response of growth and production of long bean (Vigna clydrical L) to the application of poc kepok banana skin fertilizer and KCl fertilizer.

Materials and Methods: This research was carried out in Pasar VIII Namo Terasi Village, SEI BINGAI District, in October 2022 January 2023. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the growth and production of long bean plants on the provision of POC Kepok Banana Peel and KCl Fertilizer. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor was the effect of POC fertilizer on banana peel kepok symbol (P) mixed planting which consisted of 3 treatment levels, namely: P0 = without POC fertilizer, P1=50ml POC,P2=100ml POC. The second factor is KCl fertilizer with symbol (K) which consists of 3 treatment levels, namely:K0=0gram/polybag, K1=3 gram/polybag, K2=6gram/polybag. 

Results: The results showed that the POC treatment of kepok banana peels had a significant effect on plant height at the age of 2MST, 4MST, 6MST, and had a very significant effect on fruit weight per plot at the 3rd harvest. The application of KCl fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height at the age of 2MST,4MST,6MST, and at the 3rd harvest. The interaction of the two had a very significant effect on plant height at 2MST, 4MST, 6MST. The best fruit weight for planting was obtained in the P2K2 treatment=413.50.
