The PENAMBAHAN LIMBAH KELAPA SAWIT PADA MEDIA TANAM SUBSOIL DAN PEMBERIAN NPK (16-16-16) PADA PEMBIBITAN TANAMAN KAKAO ( Theobroma cacao L. )

Abstract

• Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of three types of palm oil waste on the growth of cocoa plants in nurseries, the application of NPK fertilizer with different doses aims to find out the right one for cocoa plants and then see the interaction of the two dose treatments in the cocoa plant nursery phase.
  Research Methods: The research was conducted in the Tunggurono Binjai Timur District, North Sumatra from December 2021 to March 2022. The research design was a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with the first factor Palm Oil Waste L0 (Subsoil), L1 (Subsoil + DDS), L2 ( Subsoil + OPEFB), L3 ( Subsoil + FIBER ). The second factor was the application of NPK fertilizer N0 (without fertilizer), N1 (4 g/plant), N2 (6 g/plant), N3 (8 g/plant).
  Results: In a randomized block design (RBD) factorial study, it was shown that the treatment of palm oil waste had a significant effect on plant height at 12 WAP, number of leaves at 8 MST, leaf area at 6.8 MST, and a very significant effect on the number of leaves at age 6, 10.12 WAP, leaf area at 4 WAP, stem diameter at 12 MST, plant fresh weight at 12 MST, and root fresh weight at 12 MST. application of NPK fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height at 12 MST, number of leaves at 4 MST. And the interaction had a significant effect on the best root length at 12 MST.
